Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Malta, recently presented gift hampers to residents of Dar il-Kaptan.

Imam Atif said that, although it was the first visit of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community at the Dar il-Kaptan it would not be the last, and that they would continue visiting the residence and show their love, care and solidarity with the staff and those people who are benefiting from its services.

He said that: “The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is always committed to serve those in need, because serving humanity is an integral part of our beliefs.”

Present for the occasion was Silvan Magro, Operations Head of the Foundation For Respite Care Services, together with other staff members. Mr Magro thanked the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on behalf of the residents for his gesture of solidarity. He also briefed them about the services being provided at the residence and also showed them different areas of the residence.
